This is a private, members-only range. Memberships are available. All events and matches are open to the public. Facilities include 14 pistol bays, 100 & 300 yard rifle ranges, two falling plate pistol bays, one rimfire and one pistol steel bay, an archery range, a shotgun pavilion with two traps (bring your own clays), and an air conditioned clubhouse. The range is located roughly 14 miles east of Montgomery, near Shorter, Alabama on Macon County Road 2.

Pistol pits 7 to 12 are closed until the berm rehab is complete, and pit 6 is closed. Check Today’s Range Status on the home page before you come out.
Covered firing lines with benches. Do not shoot at less than 150 yards at the 300 yard Ragland range, and do not move the steel targets at the 100 or 300 yard range.
The rifle range cease fire rule: everyone goes downrange to check or change targets at the same time. Cold is cease fire, hot is live fire in progress.
One rimfire and one pistol steel bay. No steel targets may be shot from a distance closer than 10 yards with a pistol or 50 yards with a rifle. No rifles or shouldered weapons of any caliber on the steel plate bays in the pistol pits, and no center fire weapons of any caliber against the steel in the pits designated for rimfire.
Only practice tips may be used on the archery range. Absolutely no broad heads or razor tips allowed.
Two traps. Bring your own clays. No aerial shots except from shotguns are allowed on any range.
An air conditioned clubhouse where the club meets on the first Saturday of the month, and six restrooms (men’s and women’s) on the grounds.
